Job Summary\nWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety\n...\nand customer service is essential.\nResponsibilities\n\u2022 Operate and drive different types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.\n\u2022 Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.\n\u2022 Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to regulations.\n\u2022 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.\n\u2022 Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records.\n\u2022 Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes.\n\u2022 Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading as needed.\n\u2022 Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.\nRequirements\n\u2022 Valid commercial driver\u2019s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.\n\u2022 Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery driver experience preferred.\n\u2022 Familiarity with various truck types including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks.\n\u2022 Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving best practices.\n\u2022 Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.\n\u2022 Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.\n\u2022 Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
