Let's build something great together!\nFor this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\u2022 Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws\n\u2022 Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations\n\u2022 Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals\n\u2022 Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area\n\u2022 Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete\n\u2022 Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor\n\u2022 Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns\n\u2022 Performs other related duties as assigned\nSkills & Qualifications\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points\n\u2022 Ability to remain focused in a busy environment\n\u2022 Must hold either a commercial drivers license or chauffeur's license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated\n\u2022 Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations\n\u2022 Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs\n\u2022 Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.\n\u2022 Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time\n\u2022 Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time\n\u2022 Must be able to travel frequently\n\u2022 CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven in order to deliver to EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement\n\u2022 This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen\nWhy We're a Better Place to Work\n\u2022 Competitive salary\n\u2022 Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits coverage for full-time employees\n\u2022 Generous paid time off (PTO) plus company-paid holidays\n\u2022 401(k) and company match\n\u2022 Annual tool and boot reimbursements for those in applicable jobs\n\u2022 Fitness Membership stipends plus seasonal and year-round wellness challenges in applicable jobs\n\u2022 Company-sponsored events (annual family gatherings, food truck nights, and more)\n\u2022 Volunteering and local charity initiatives that help you nurture and grow the communities you call home.
