This is more than a driving job; it's an opportunity to represent a brand built on trust, teamwork, and doing the right thing, every time.\nQualifications and requirements\n\u2022 Valid state-issued commercial driver\u2019s license Class A (CDL) Required.\n\u2022 2+ years Class A CDL Driving experience required. Military (Heavy/Medium Tactical Vehicle) driving experience will be considered.\n\u2022 In lieu of having Class A CDL Driving experience, current CarMax Associates are eligible to apply when they have met the following criteria:\n\u2022 A valid state-issued Class A Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL)\n\u2022 2+ years of Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) driving experience at CarMax \u2013 non-Class A CMV experience is acceptable\n\u2022 No preventable safety incidents in the past 2 years (validated by the Safety & Compliance Team)\n\u2022 Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years; candidates must meet CarMax\u2019s Driver Safety Evaluation criteria.\n\u2022 Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.\n\u2022 Lift heavy objects and winch transported vehicles during the loading process.\n\u2022 Proficiency in operating a 10-speed transmission.\n\u2022 Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.\n\u2022 Good communication skills.\nAbout CarMax\nCarMax disrupted the auto industry by delivering the honest, transparent, and high-integrity experience customers want and deserve.
